FAQs

How much hair is required for an installation?

Celestine-wefts are offered in bundles of 50g (suitable for a half head) and 100g (ideal for a full head) & 150-200g (for super thick hair). The amount needed will vary and is based on the desired look, length and volume of the client’s natural hair. I will provide guidance on the appropriate amount of hair and pricing tailored to each client’s unique needs.

How frequently do Celestine Wefts need to be lifted / refitted?

This varies for each individual. Generally, we suggest maintenance re-lifts every six weeks. However, this can depend on the growth rate of the natural hair, as well as how well the hair is maintained.

Can I colour my natural hair whilst wearing the Celestine Weft?

Yes, technically you can colour your hair around the Celestine-Wefts while wearing them, if you choose to colour your hair, ensure that it is thoroughly rinsed to remove any residual colour that could get stuck in the weft.

Can I use my own shampoo and conditioner?

Yes you can as long as they are sulphate-free products. Be sure to rinse the hair twice to prevent any build-up in the hair and wefts, as this can impact their durability and feel of the hair.

Can I colour the hair?

We don’t recommend colouring the Weft hair as the hair is already put through extensive colouring processes, usually we are able to find a perfect match through blending different colours. However, if you have a unique colour or want to tone it slightly this can be done, we just dont recommend altering colours to extreme levels. For example, colouring platinum blonde to dark brown as it can have a patchy result. Colouring roots darker or toning to a different hue is usually fine. Please note that any chemical treatments will void the warranty.

Can the weft method damage my own hair at all?

The only way it could damage your hair is if there is way too much hair on one track weighing too heavy on the hair follicle. The beads used to secure the track are lined with silicon on the inside so it latches on without causing any damage or breakage. The weight of the hair is evenly distributed around the head so its not causing any pressure or damage to your own hair. This is super important at Celestine.

Are they comfortable to wear?

Yes they’re super comfortable. The only time you might feel slight tension is for the first 2 days. This is because it’s a new sensation and once your head gets used to it you wont notice them and they’ll just feel like you grew them yourself.
